What kind of quest are you searching for?

40 Days to Personal Revolution

Recently, I discovered a program that peaked my curiosity: 40 Days to Personal Revolution. It’s based on yoga guru Baron Baptiste’s book of the same name, and is guided and coached by a special woman Carla Giambrone.

40 Days was announced as a journey promising participants an opportunity to create a life changing, soul-awakening experience through yoga, meditation, nutrition, goal-setting, and group meeting. I enjoy this kind of “crunchy” stuff. I want to make some small, positive shifts in my life. However, I wanted to know more.

What stands out most about 40 Days is the idea that anyone can sign up to do it. I don’t have to have an über flexible body, nor a sound mind (who does?). 40 days promised to meet me where I am in the maze of my life and take me farther than I thought possible.

It sounded like a quest without dragon slaying.

Was I willing to take on this quest and explore, play, discover, and challenge myself? Yeah. I think I can do that.

I plan to chronicle my 40 days, and will share some things here with bits of humor and insight. I hope you’ll continue to visit.

Are you on a quest or just searching for one?
